chicken thandoori is very spicy and healthy recipe, because we could not put more oil on it, it take its skin oil to cook, here I'm saying how to make chicken thandoori at home with easy steps.
Ingredients:
chicken leg piece - 3 nos.
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tbsp.
Gram masala - 1 tbsp.
Aniseed powder - 1 tbsp.
Red chilly powder -1 tbsp.
Egg white - 1
food color one pinch
lemon -half
Other Needs:
Pot with holes
Heavy wait lid
Aluminum foil
Banana leaf
Coal/Aduppu kari
For seasoning:
Oil - 3 tsp
For Garnishing :
Onion -1
Preparation:
Take a Pot put some coal on it, make it burn.
Your hand will can feel the temperature with in 3 seconds when you check the coal heat. Now your pot ready.
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl or plate with some water. Then apply that masala into chicken piece.
You must have to scratch the chicken leg pieces.
Rapper the leg pieces separate with banana leafs then rapper that with aluminum foils.
Now the chicken is double double rapped.
After rapped put that into hot pot, seal pot with aluminum foil.
Then put weight lid on that pot ( like me kulipaniyaram pan.)
Wait atleast 1 hour it fully cooked. After a hour take the chicken from pot peal the rapper.
Now thandoori ready. if you want crispy out-layer, heat dosa pan put the chicken legs with 3 spoon of oil, you have to wait for 15 min and keep your stove in simmer , rotate your thandoori all side.
Then put thandoori on to pulka pan keep it in 3 min to clear all coated oil.
now your thandoori is ready to eat.
